At Pantanal Expeditions, you will quickly notice that things are a little bit different. We have no guides, for example. Most of our trip leaders are professionals who take time out from their busy schedules to lead our expeditions. Biologists, orthonologists, archeologists, historians & cultural experts make up an essential part of our group. Our multilingual trip leaders also have specialized skills in emergency outdoor medicine, rappel, equestrian and whitewater sports. While we believe that our destinations offer some of the most spectacular sights in the Central-west Region of Brazil, most of our trips take you to locations where you are highly unlikely to see another foreign tourist.
The word expedition can be defined as "a campaign designed to achieve a specific objective in a foreign country", or " an organized group of people undertaking a journey for a particular purpose". This is exactly what we aim to acheive.
We offer scheduled trips to some destinations that are not open to the public on a regular basis as well as custom itineraries to meet your schedule.
